In June, Conuma Resources proudly showcased its unwavering commitment to safety and teamwork at the 66th Annual BC Mine Rescue and First Aid Competition. Our two Surface Mine Rescue teams and two First Aid teams demonstrated their exceptional skills in firefighting, first aid, rope rescue, practical skills, leadership, teamwork, rescue techniques, and hazardous environment management. Competing against Northern teams on June 6, Team Conuma achieved impressive results, including Best Mine Rescue Written Overall, Best First Aid Written by an Individual, Best First Aid Written by a Spare, and 1st Place in 3-Person First Aid, securing a spot at Provincials. At the Provincials on June 8, our First Aid team delivered an outstanding performance, exemplifying Conuma’s values and spirit. Our deep gratitude goes to all Mine Rescue members who trained so hard for the event, as well as the support and coaching staff and those who showed up to cheer on their team members. #ConumaStrong
