As Vice President, Regulatory & Permitting, Sam leads Conuma’s regulatory strategy and permitting programs, guiding the Company’s operations through the complex environmental and regulatory frameworks that govern responsible mining in British Columbia. She partners with provincial regulators, Indigenous nations, and internal operations teams to secure and maintain the approvals that keep Conuma’s mines running safely, sustainably, and on schedule.

Sam brings more than a decade of mining experience, with expertise in open pit operations and a proven track record of leadership. Since joining Conuma in 2018, she has advanced through progressively senior roles, earning a reputation for translating rigorous technical knowledge into practical, results-driven regulatory outcomes. Her collaborative approach and command of the permitting landscape have made her a trusted advisor across the organization.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from Simon Fraser University.
