Safety took center stage at the first annual Conuma internal mine rescue competition on April 20. The event, held in Tumbler Ridge, showcased the preparedness and skill of our mine rescue teams, with more than 500 people from the community attending, including town officials, to support the initiative. The competition reinforced the critical role of safety in our operations, and the practical training our teams undergo to ensure they are ready to respond to any serious incident. Quintette mine emerged as the overall team champion, with the other three mines only a few points back, demonstrating the effectiveness of their rigorous training at all our operations.
